Amniocentesis

Yesterday was my 16th week of pregnancy. I was so excited to find out that our baby is a BOY. We thought it was a girl but it's a boy. A little junior of my husband. At the same time it was my schedule for amniocentesis. A surgical procedure to obtain a sample of amniotic fluid from the amniotic sac, using a hollow needle through my abdominal wall. It is used to detect abnormal genetic disorders such as Down Syndrome, Neural tube Defect and more. It's optional for pregnant women, but I have to since I have a first cousin who has down syndrome. My doctor says that all my labs were perfect so there's nothing to worry about, it's just all for confirmation that everything is perfectly good. Result will come after couple of weeks. For now, I have to rest. 

My husband is traveling and his convincing me to come with him, his living tomorrow but still I'm not decided to go with him or not. It's 1,500 miles drive, the last drive we had was so stressful and I don't wanna experience that again. He'll be gone for few weeks, I don't know if I'll make it here all by myself. I don't know if I can even sleep knowing that nobody will protect me here except for my loaded gun. Still thinking about it. I still have few more hours to think about it. Hope our baby can tell me if his ok with that driving or better for us to stay at home and wait for dada. *sigh*

April

Wow days passed by so fast. It's like a blinked of an eye and tomorrow will be April. My online review with kaplan for my NCLEX will end up pretty soon. hehehhhe I did not used it that much since I don't feel like taking it. I really don't know if I'm destined to be a nurse. I know I love to help people. I also know that I took up nursing and finished it just to pleased my parents. Maybe pleasing our parents is not a good idea when it's all about our future. Now I know. When I took up nursing I was in accounting in my 2nd year. I love it. I love business and money. Nursing is a good paying job, especially that I'm already here in USA, but that's not what I really wanted. Since my husband paid my review and stuff, I might take it as well. My husband noticed lately that I'm not into my review and he told me if I really wanted to be just a plain housewife that's ok with him. He said his just worried for me when his gone. I told him rest assured that I will be fine. For I am happy what I have now and satisfied. I'm pretty sure our baby and I will live ok. I don't want to think about it that someday I will be alone for he is older than me. But for now I will enjoy the days we're together. Love each other more everyday.

Where would I start?

People are saying that on December 21, 2012 will be the end of the world.

When you add the Twin tower explosion last 09/11/01 and Japan's Tsunami 03/10/11, 

you will get 12/21/12. Kinda creepy isn't it?

I don't know if it's true or just merely a BIG coincidence.

Scientifically, I know that the earth has this thing called "The Ring of Fire".

It is a ring shape beneath the earth and it composes of lava. Yes, lava.

This few months some of the countries belongs to the ring of fire is having some environmental problem.

Volcanoes erupted, earthquakes, and now tsunami.

Some people say it's because of the moon, which is much closer this year on earth.

Many facts, many stories to hear.

I don't know if they're worth to be heard.

Whenever that day is, I know I'm ready. I've done my part and never hurt anyone.

God is good and forgiving. 

For those people who doesn't believe in God, I think this is the time to reflect and accept God in our lives.

No matter what your religion is, we have One Great God. 

I'm not scared of what may come, for I know that God is with me and that He will never leave me.

God bless to everyone who's grieving right now and I pray that no one will get

hurt from Japan's radiation, everyone is safe and I pray that He will help the people who's in need most of His mercy.

Rab

Winter is almost over. Spring is next week but snow is still out there in some areas. When you love winter and love to play with it, this is the time to shop for next year's winter. Stress

I'm so happy yesterday. We went to my OB-GYNE and everything went well. Our baby is healthy. It's too early to know the gender but I can't stop myself the get excited. What ever the gender is, I just prayed that it's healthy. Spring is coming, every year we always go to our farm. It's pretty nice in our farm especially the trees, sunset, the green grass, in short mother nature. It's nice to have a place like that for we always know that we can go to that place in times of boredom here in the City. Sad to say this year I may not come with my husband. Since I'm into complete bed rest. Having this baby is much important for me that my leisure. Hopefully, in the fall which we are scheduled to visit the farm again, there would be three of us. That would much more fun. 
This few months, I tried to detached myself from stress. I avoid calls that I know will bring me stress. Yesterday, I got a news that I can't really stop. Today, I'm pre-occupied with it. I don't know how to escape this time but hopefully I can before anything will happen to me. I will just pray to God that everything will go away and everything will be answered as soon as possible.

losing and finding game

Last year I really managed to maintain my weight of 110lbs. Everytime, I gained a little bit pounds, I always make sure to lose them right away. At the same time my husband is finding the pounds I lose. hahahah That's why we called it losing and finding game. Now that his losing weights, I'm finding it. I really don't care this time as long as our baby is healthy. I will just try to lose weight next year, after giving birth. The other day I was in Victoria Secret website and browsing with their swimsuits on sale. I did not noticed that my husband was staring at me, until he can't stop himself to asked me. "Are you planning to wear two-piece this year?" hahahahah what a question. I punched him right away. He keeps on laughing. I just answered, "oh well, I may not looked like hot like last year but I will make sure that I would still be sexy in your eyes even I'm pregnant". Suddenly, he stopped teasing me, gave me a huge hug and said "you'll always be sexy and hot in my eyes" . He really loves teasing me. I also loved to tease him when I get a chance.

Since I was talking about having a business on my own someday, it would be a great idea to have a logo on my own. I don't know anything about designing my own logo since I'm not a computer wizard. When you ask someone to design your logo, it would be tough. Sometimes, it would not be the logo you want it or even worse the logo is not done yet when you need it the most. Having a logo on your own is a great idea, especially when you have your own business. In this way, people will recognize you easier.

This month while I was reading it and I was in a shoe page, I told my husband I like it and will buy it. He was laughing at me because I was pointing to a stiletto. He asked me where would I wear it?. I simply answered when I'm cleaning our windows..hahahahaha so that I can reach it. He was laughing and laughing, he finally said ok we will buy that to help you clean the window.

I really love my husband. Not just for buying me stuff but especially for being my bestfriend and we make each other laugh.

9weeks, 3days

Last night I had this pain in my abdomen that made me scared to death. I am now in my 9weeks and 3rd day of pregnancy. Since this is my 3rd time being pregnant, I'm really careful of not having miscarriage again. We went to my OB-GYNE today, I prepared myself for bad news. When the  doctor showed me the baby I was so relief to hear the heartbeat and the baby is kicking and punching while having the ultrasound. I'll be visiting my Doctor every 2weeks since  of  I belong to high-risk pregnancy. I don't mind all the effort of going to her clinic, nor do some sacrifice of not traveling as long as our baby is healthy and safe inside me. I'm always praying that God will keep His blessings upon us. I trust Him and won't ever doubt Him. Praise you oh God!

English Writing Solution

I'm so lucky that where I come from they teach English as early as you enter school. After Philippines was saved by Americans from Japanese, Philippines decided to make English as a second language. All our subjects are in English except our Filipino subjects. I love English so much. I can't talked fluently but I still managed to have conversations. I'm best in writing English. 

I have few friends who barely speak nor write English. I don't know why but I believed that learning English is a very good thing since this is the language most country used. I am now in USA, I've encountered Mexicans who lived here who barely speak English at all. I think they should try to learn it since they live here now.

Been in bed for 1 week now and I'm kinda not used to it. My husband is so helpful and very understanding. He always bring everything for me in bed. Most of the time he just works in the house, so that he can assist me with my needs. His so sweet and his so loving. I'm so lucky to find a loving husband like him. I'm loving him more and more each day.

leather furniture

We have leather furniture everywhere. I just love it so much. They're very comfortable and very beautiful. I love to take my naps in our couch. Many people loved collecting leather things, but since it cost a lot I will just stick into my furniture. Our couches is from beige to brown in color. I think we have 6 leather coaches in 3 different places. They're very durable and nice to touch. I always clean them and make sure that they are moisturized enough. Leather needs to have extra care. If you don't moisturize them, they will get dry and someday they will be ruined. I hate to see leathers like that, that's why I constantly clean and moisturized them.

Maybe, someday we will buy a house in the Philippines and I would still pick leather furniture for our house. It's incomparable to any furniture. Someday, we will sell everything and move in the Philippines for good. I hate to sell my leather furniture, maybe I will just give it to my mom if they have space for some of it. How I wish I can bring them with me, but I think it will cost me a lot to ship it, better buy it in the Philippines than pay extra amount of money to ship it.

The first time I tasted wine I got wasted. I'm not used with it, it feels like it's stronger than beer. Since my husband got cases and cases of wine, he always opens a bottle. I started with red and find it so strong. Then, I switched to white wines particularly chardonnay. I loved it. It's like I can't live without my chardonnay. Since my husband and I love wines and we live near Napa Valley, California, we always go there and visit all wineries and taste their wines. Some wines are very expensive. Isn't that amazing? Everytime, we visit the winery we always buy cases of wines and of course I will always have a case of my chardonnay.

Spring

Can't wait for spring to come. It's been cold for awhile. Usually, we go to our farm in spring. I love it there. We have horses, cattles and maybe will raise bees this year. I adore the sunrise and sunset our place, it's perfectly beautiful. Every afternoon we go up to the hill and wait for the sunset. It's worth to wait after a very tiring day working in the farm. 
Sad to say this year I may not go there, because I'm having a high risk pregnancy. Maybe in October, I will with my little munchkin (praying)... surely I will miss the spring this year and driving around with my monster truck and ATV.

My husband love cars, so when I got here and learned about cars I find it interesting. We love watching race cars and we even have car magazines.  I went to few car shows like Barrett-Jackson here in Las Vegas. It was so entertaining and I had so much fun checking every car. Our neighbor said I'm kinda weird because I have interest in cars, considering I'm a female. He got a point but still shopping is my best interest. I really haven't been to a race track. The year had passed is so stressful for me. Had miscarriage twice and now I'm pregnant again. It's hard to explain how I feel right now. Mixed emotion. Scared that it might happen again and I will end up broken hearted again. Exciting and hoping that this might work and at last I might see our precious little munchkin. I'm praying everyday that God will help us get through with this. I'm staying away from stress and people that may contribute to my stress. I want this to work. Any suggestions there???

Textingly

Texting is a trend nowadays. Everyone has cellphones and it is more convenient to use than regular phones. Letters are rarely used this days, because of emails, fax, and even text. It is faster and more reliable.

I think technology is way more than our imagination and there are more coming. Back in the Philippines, I have 3 cellphones for different networks but here I only have my laptop because it's so expensive to get one here and It's not practical for me since I don't have anyone to talk to. I used my husbands cellphone if I have to text or call someone.

FEB-ibig

It's Feb-ibig (ibig-love) already. Since I met my husband we always say "I love you" hundred times everyday. Yes I can't count how many I love you we say to each other everyday. We've been together for 2 years now, so that could be hundred of thousands of I love you. So happy I found him. 

Our first valentines as a couple was February 2009, he was here in USA while I'm back home in the Philippines. I celebrated my valentines with a bunch of friends who doesn't have dates too. That day I received my laptop from my husband. So happy to have my first laptop and so glad I found my lifetime valentine. Last year February 2010, we celebrated our valentines in Laguna beach, California. We stayed in Pacific Hotel which is in the seashore. So pretty place and perfect view. 

This year, my husband is already planning for our dinner date. He asked me if I want it in cash but I told him I want a fine dinner with him. I think that's better than have the cash and shop again. 

Previous 2 years I gave him giant Valentines cards, as big as a pillow. This year I don't have time to search for huge card, so I decided to make it different. I made my own Valentines card and I will give it everyday. With special notes and quotes on how I feel towards my Valentine.

I love him so much, more than words I can say!

Photo Books

I love to take pictures not just every event of my life, also in ordinary days. I love to look at them in later days and see where I've been and the wonderful people I met in my life. I really don't have that much pictures in my childhood since 10years ago, taking pictures is pretty expensive using those films. When I was a kid pictures where not our priority. I start loving photography when I was in high school. I love taking pictures even it cause me a lot to print it. Nowadays, my pictures are everywhere since digital came out. I bought my own professional camera last year, actually my husband bought it for me. Since then I captured picture. 

I have two lovely scrap book of our pictures. I love making them, since they are all special for me. But now that I'm so busy I can't do it anymore. How I love to see them in book, even my friend and family can see it the internet. It's still different. I found this lovely website that makes photo books. New Beginning

New beginning, new start, new hope for this new year.

Had a bad and challenging year last year but I made it.

Having trials like that made me stronger and wiser, it also made our relationship more meaningful and loved each other more.

This year I planned to make our year to have more smile, more laughter's to come, more love and more lovely memories together.

January started with a good news, I'm pregnant again for the third time. Had miscarriage twice last year, so I'm hoping and praying that this one will make it. Hopefully to get good news after nine-months. If I have to do everything just to make this happen I will. If I have to sacrifice everything I will just to have one little angel of my own.

 January 2-4, 2011 Me and my husband spent 2 nights at Clair Tappaan Lodge. It was a great and different experienced for me. For I was not expecting that the place would be wonderful. Aside from the very affordable price $55/pax/night, they also included 3meals with that. What could u asked for? They have their own playground at the back of the lodge, we don't have to go anywhere. In short they have it all. It's nice to stay in this lodge because you'll get a chance to talk to alot of people, unlike staying in the hotel. I was also surprised that they have a "CHORE SHEET".. Yes!!! a chore sheet. You get to help the volunteers to make the meal preparation everyday and also cleaning up the kitchen. It was not that hard because everyone is willing to help.  They're also open in Summer. So if you want to experienced what I had experienced, visit and stay at Clair Tappaan Lodge in Donner Summit, California.

Last 2010, I was into a small business. I was so excited and so eager to worked it out. First, I have to plan for my advertisement and paper works.
